TWELVE CHALLENGES. EACH ONE CLOSES A SPECIFIC GAP

Every week tackles one behaviour most managers know they should do — and don't.

Four phases, one progression

Twelve weeks, four phases. Each phase requires the one before it. This is also how we describe the programme in a pitch meeting.

PHASE 1   •   LEAD YOURSELF FIRST   •   WEEKS 1-3

WEEK 1

Watch Yourself Work

Log one leadership moment a day. Two sentences - what you did, what you produced.

WEEK 2

Listen to Understand

Ask one clarifying question before you offer any opinion. Be the last to speak.

WEEK 3

Be Unambiguously Clear

For every task: what 'done' looks like, by when, why it matters, who decides what.

PHASE 2   •   BUILD THE TRUST BASE   •   WEEKS 4-6

WEEK 4

Close the Loops

Track every commitment you make.Close 100% of them — by name, ontime.

WEEK 5

Feedback Without Fear

One specific piece of feedback a day. Make sure it is by name, by moment, by impact.

WEEK 6

Stop Being the Bottleneck

Every routine decision made within 24 hours. Remove yourself from the critical path.

PHASE 3   •   MULTIPLY THROUGH OTHERS   •   WEEKS 7-9

WEEK 7

Delegate for Growth

Hand over one meaningful piece of work with full authority. Resist re-taking it.

WEEK 8

Coach, Don't Answer

Ask questions before giving answers - at least once a day. Hold the silence for a moment.

WEEK 9

Have the Hard Talk

Name the one you've been avoiding. This week. Within seven days of noticing.

PHASE 4   •   LEAD THE SYSTEM   •   WEEKS 10-12

WEEK 10

Productive Disagreement

this week, in a major decision, invite at least one contrary view before deciding.

WEEK 11

Connect Work & Meaning
